This past weekend I was part of Group’s third iteration of KidMin, a conference for children’s ministers. If you were not there, you missed out.
But never fear, you’ll have another chance at #kidmin14 – September 26-29 , 2014 and you should be there. Here’s why:
It’s your conference
It’s easy to find the people that are running the conference – they’re in purple shirts, roaming the halls. If you think something isn’t right or could be better, you can grab them and have great potential to make a difference in the conference. If they can’t help you, they might even connect you with Christine herself.
Here’s an example: My wife, who’s pretty picky about english, noticed that some of the hallway signs said “Lead by…” instead of “Led by…” with the name of the leader. Something was mentioned and the next day it was put right.
An even bigger example is how they have listened to the feedback and try really hard to make sure that attenders have easy access to affordable rooms, lots of choices to eat, and time to breath between sessions.
Group wants this to be your conference. If you’re not here, your feedback can’t be heard.
