At times when each of my boys were younger I would sooth them to sleep singing…the only problem was that each time I would pick them up out of their crib and begin singing, my brain would freeze up – I couldn’t remember the lyrics to any children’s song. I’d sing “Hush little Baby” and go way, way off track…”Rock-a-bye” baby seemed a little violent at times…and so, I would eventually sing “Amazing Grace” over and over or just make up songs.
